Juvennile law in India

I just heard that the juvennile who was most brutal in the gang rape case of medical student will be given only minimum punishment of 3 years just because he is 17. How is that fair?what are you telling criminals under 18 ?that they r free to go and commit any kind of horrific crime and escape with minimum punishment.will they really learn a lesson by staying in the jail for just 3 years.and also now this gives ideas to people to create fake birth certificate to prove that they are juvennile. I think the law should be changed and all the convicts should be punished.

    I think rape crimes should be handled as murder crimes. You basically ruin the victim's life. If not, then these disgusting criminals should be castrated or worse.
